Leave it to Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz (D.-Fla.) to find a new way to make herself look dumber than most thought was humanly possible.
When asked by MSNBC dingbat Chris Matthews what’s the difference between and Democrat like Grandma Hillary and a socialist like Bernie Sanders, Debbie couldn’t answer. “Uhh,” Wasserman-Schultz said last Thursday.“I used to think there was a big difference,” Matthews said. “What do you think?”
“The difference between—the real question is what’s the difference between being a Democrat and being a Republican,” Wasserman-Schultz said avoiding the question altogether.
She went onto continue to bumble and fumble through the rest of that softball interview.
And when asked the same question again four days later on Meet The Press, Debbie dodged and started bashing Republicans and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Chuck Todd attempted, again, to get Debbie to answer what the differences are between a devout socialist like Bernie Sanders and a supposed middle-of-the-road liberal Democrat like Hillary.“The contrast, whether it’s Bernie Sanders, Jeb Bush, Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee, um, Hillary Clinton,” She said realizing that she’d put her foot in her mouth, “any of that contrast between our candidates and theirs is very clear, and the American people will eventually choose our nominee as president.”
