• Genius Twitter Turns Jihadis With Mics Into ‘ISIS Karaoke’

Islamic State loves microphones. In town squares across Syria and Iraq, terrorists are gathering captive audiences and lecturing about their version of Islam.

A brilliant new Twitter account, @ISISKaraoke, pairs images from Islamic State propaganda with Western pop song lyrics. So instead of screeds about raping preteen slave girls, the jihadis seem to be enjoying the greatest hits of the dissolute, sinful West.

Here a preacher in Raqqa, Islamic State’s biggest Syrian city, sings along to the Bee Gees’ unforgettable disco classic “Stayin’ Alive.” (Besides being home to those bell-bottomed brothers, Australia has also exported nearly 200 Islamic State jihadis.)

In this image, taken from the execution of alleged Iraqi “spies” against the group, an Islamic State spokesman attempts rapper Kelis’ 2003 hit “Milkshake.” (RELATED: ISIS’ New Shock Video Shows Just How Desperate They Are)

And during his 2014 speech declaring the group a “state” in Mosul, Iraq, the self-described “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi himself kicks back among friends and takes the mic for a moving rendition of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer.”

Last but not least, here’s a guy in a ninja costume taking a stab at Vanilla Ice’s most enduring rap number.

We’re still waiting on the “ISIS, ISIS Baby” remix.
