If you guessed The Donald, you’d be correct.
According to recent data out from Public Policy Polling, Donald Trump is sitting on top in terms of his favorability rating among Latino Republicans. With 34 percent favorability, Trump beats out Jeb Bush 31 percent, Ted Cruz 30 percent, and Marco Rubio 29 percent among Hispanic voters Univision reports in the video clip above.Trumps numbers are far better than many might expect after he was hit hard for remarks he made about Mexican immigrants during his presidential announcement speech last month.
But perhaps what makes this poll pure goal is that Donald Trump predicted these favorable numbers when he declared that he will “win the Hispanic vote.”
“I have a great relationship with the Mexican people. I have many people working for me – look at the job in Washington – I have many legal immigrants working with me. And many of them come from Mexico. They love me, I love them,” Trump said in an interview with NBC News. “And I’ll tell you something, if I get the nomination, I’ll win the Latino vote.”
When he’s right, he’s right.
