  • Mr. Trump: We Need The AIC Card

Mr. Trump, does anybody actually know how many illegal aliens there are in the United States? The Wall Street Journal in an article by Sara Murray of April 4, 2013 she estimated that is much is 40% of the 11 million illegal aliens were people who have overstayed their visa. The simple math in this one category of illegal aliens has 4,400,000 illegals. Again I asked the question does anybody really know how many illegal aliens are in this country?

I believe that nobody knows how many people, good or bad that have actually come across the southern border. While I understand and support your position on the wall, we have millions of people illegally in this country, and in addition we have no idea where they live. I understand you want to increase the customs and border control by triple but I’m not sure that will make any kind of a dent in the millions upon millions of illegals already in the country. One of the ways to make America safe and to protect our border is to know with as much certainty as possible, who’s here.

I would like to make a suggestion right out of my book 3 of my trilogy on terrorism, The Brotherhood of the Red Nile, America Responds. You as President are going to have to figure out away to determine who the bad guys are that are already in the country. This is the same challenge that faced Nathan Jordan as president in my book. He needed to find away to identify the illegals or make it so risky to chance staying here that they will have to self deport.

Here is how the American Immigration Card (AIC) will work to help identify illegals already in the country and provide a window for illegals to self deport. On the first day of your presidency you will instruct Homeland Security to issue AIC cards through the Social Security Administration. Every individual in the United States we’ll have to report to a local Social Security office with proof of legal residency. You will be issued the first card, the first lady we’ll get the second, and at that point everybody in the country will have one year to register. If they are illegal they will have to make a decision and the clock is ticking. Every newspaper and web site will have a countdown clock with the number of days left to register.

After that one year if you were still in the country without an A I C card you will be detained and subject to deportation. Many people who are in the United States illegally will self deport. The over 4.4 million people here on expired visas will have to return to the home country for new visas. Those people who are in United States illegally that choose to stay after the year will run the risk of not only being deported but will be denied access from ever coming back.

There’s been a great deal of discussion about the number of illegals in the shadows under the AIC card the shadows will be greatly reduced. Illegals will have to make a conscious decision should I try and leave the country and then try to reenter legally or stay here and I hope that I will not be caught. Every employer regardless of size will be required to have on file photographic copy of the employee’s AIC card, which will be subject to inspection on demand, by immigration and naturalization. Those employers who violate the AIC rules will face fines and for repeat offenders there will incarceration.

We can through the use of the AIC card deal with the mounting problem of illegal immigration and make America a safer place to live. Legal Americans will give up nothing they will find themselves with another card in their wallet but this one protects them and America.
