• Spider-Man Saves The Day In Times Square

A Times Square Spider-Man was caught on video Tuesday taking down a real-life villain who was antagonizing shoppers, tourists and pedestrians on Tuesday.

The costumed “crime fighter” threw punches at the heckler and put him in a headlock in front of Toys R Us in Times Square as the crowd of onlookers cheered.

“He said a lot of racist s–t,” said the friendly neighborhood spandex-wearer, who only identified himself as Josh. “He said, ‘You Muslims go back to your country – you’re gonna’ blow up Times Square.’

“He’s been doing this on and off for almost a year,” he said.

Geoff Golberg witnessed the melee, videotaped it and posted it to Twitter on Thursday.

“The guy was harassing a number of performers, other costumed folks,” he said. “They’ve notoriously had issues with him in the past.”

“Spider-Man saves the day in Times Square,” Golberg tweeted.

Another costumed panhandler claims the heckler regularly harasses the characters and shouts racial slurs at them.

Cops said no police report was filed over Tuesday’s ruckus and there were no immediate arrests.

Another man costumed in a Spider-Man suit turned Times Square into a battleground back in July 2014 when he allegedly punched a cop who stopped him from hitting up tourists for cash.
