• WHOA! 6-Foot Eagle Attacks Drone And It’s All Caught On Tape

A drone capturing video of the Australian landscape took a dive when a wedge-tailed eagle decided there wasn’t enough room in this town for the both of them.

Adam Lancaster was flying the drone when the eagle attacked. It had a six foot wingspan, according to Lancaster, Discover Magazine reports. The wedge-tailed eagle is Australia’s largest bird of prey.

“Do not fly drones near birds of prey, they clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right sized dinner,” the video’s description reads. “This will cost you money and potentially harm to the bird.”

Lancaster said the bird was fine, but that his drone needed a little work.

“If you see a bird of prey while flying,” the description reads. “Land. I have added this to my operating procedure.”
