• After Crying (AGAIN) During Pope’s Speech, John Boehner Resigns From Congress

Speaker of the House, John Boehner was clearly emotional while standing beside Pope Francis during the Pope’s historic address before a joint session of Congress Thursday.

Boehner was caught bursting into tears on live television as he stood beside the pontiff. He attempted to maintain his composure and blink back tears, but the devout Catholic eventually looked up to the heavens with his intense blue eyes and lost it.

The Pope commented on Boehner’s green tie that it’s “the color of hope.”

“We’ll need a lot of hope today,” Boehner replied

It’s a good thing the often emotional Speaker had a handkerchief on hand because he was unable to hold back the waterworks as the Pope discussed political, economic, and social issues plaguing the world.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) also got misty-eyed as Pope Francis spoke about America being built by the “sons of immigrants”

Boehner has worked to organize a papal visit to Congress for twenty years of his long political career in the House of Representatives. His effort finally reached its conclusion with Pope Francis’s visit Thursday.

In other great news, the feckless John Boehner is finally resigning his position as House Speaker and his position from Congress.
