• Karl Rove Slams Trump After CNN Debate: I Don’t Think He Did Well Tonight

Republican political consultant and former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove criticized GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s performance following Wednesday’s CNN GOP Debate at the Reagan Library.

O’Reilly asked Rove for his post-debate analysis but asked him to withhold his opinion on Trump because Trump attacked Rove during a large campaign event held at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Monday evening, calling him a “total incompetent jerk.”

“Now, I’m not going to let you comment on Trump,” O’Reilly said. “There’s just too much bad blood between you and Trump. You guys just don’t like each other and, you know, so…”

“So you’re going to let him just insult me in public and I can’t respond?” Rove retorted.

“You want to insult him? I’ll give you three minutes, go ahead,” O’Reilly replied.

Rove told Bill O’Reilly that he didn’t want to attack Trump, “But he didn’t have a very good night.”

Rove wouldn’t say a nice thing about Trump if you paid him, but it’s no surprise. Trump really savaged Rove Monday night.

“OK, so George Will is a disaster. Honestly, another one, Karl Rove. He’s terrible. He’s terrible. He’s terrible. He still thinks that Mitt Romney won. He’s still going around saying, I think he won. This guy—think of this—he ought to be on Wall Street,” Trump said. “ He raises money pretty well. The last cycle, the last presidential election, he raised $434 million and didn’t win one race. Can you believe that? Can you believe it?”

“But you look at some of these guys and they are like boilers, okay—real estate—they are like boilers,” he continued. “I saw Karl Rove on a show the other night and the name Trump came up and you could see it was like a boiler ready to explode. I think the guy is a total incompetent jerk, but him and there are others. But I would say this, anybody that gives him, Karl Rove and others the group of losers, anybody that gives them money, you’re losers yourself, doesn’t make sense because they don’t know what they are doing.”
