• Pataki Complains CNN Debate Begins With Nothing But Trump Questions

    Donald Trump wasn’t onstage for the CNN lower-tier GOP debate Wednesday, but the first round of questioning at was all about Donald Trump.

    Former New York Gov. George Pataki  made known he was not happy about it.

    Pataki snapped at the moderator Hugh Hewitt for pressing him about his willingness to support Trump if he becomes the GOP nominee.

    “He is not going to be the nominee, Hugh,” Pataki said. “At let me just say one word here. This is an important election with an enormous number of challenges facing the American people and the first four questions are about Donald Trump.”

    That being said, he nonetheless took the bait and spent the introductory portion of the debate attacking Trump, as did the other candidates the other candidates on the stage, with the exception of Rick Santorum. Santorum chided fellow his candidates,  for their personal attacks on Trump.

    Pataki outlined why he would not pledge his support to Trump if the real estate magnate won the nomination.

    “I will vote for the Republican nominee but let me say this flat out, Donald Trump is unfit to be President of the United States or the Republican Party’s nominee,” Pataki said.
