Mitt Romney was able to win over only 6 percent of the black vote, despite a sputtering economy that was impacting blacks the worst, when President Obama was running for re-election.
Republican received a mere 4 percent of the black vote when Obama was facing off against John McCain in 2008.
George W. Bush was running for re-election in 2004, received 11 percent of the black vote and 9 percent in 2000.
