• Carson: Stop Pretending Every ‘Lifestyle’ Has the ‘Same Value’

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson underscored the benefits of “traditional families” during an interview with SiriusXM Patriot host and Fox News contributor David Webb on Wednesday.

Webb pressed Carson about how he would address the “epidemic” of single-parent households in the United States.

“We have got to stop paying attention to the PC Police who say every lifestyle is exactly of the same value. No, it’s not of the same value,” Carson answered.

“It is very clear that intact, traditional families with traditional, intact values do much better in terms of raising children. So let’s stop pretending that everything is of equal value.”

As the race to become President of the United States heats up, Republican voters are still trying to unify behind their nominee. Ben Carson would beat Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical general election matchup in Ohio and Pennsylvania, a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found.
