• Rhianna Calls NAACP Director (And Black Imposter) Rachel Dolezal A Hero

Pop superstar Rihanna says Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP  director who was exposed for falsely presenting herself as black, is a “hero.”

“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rihanna said in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”

Dolezal, the former director of the Spokane, WA NAACP became famous months ago after claiming to be the victim of racially motivated discrimination. The 37-year-old’s parents revealed her true identity and told the media Dolezal is actually white, lied about her race and disguises herself as a black woman.

The singer, who stripped down for her upcoming November Vanity Fair feature, also refuted her “party-girl” image and reputation in the media.

“I honestly think how much fun it would be to live my reputation. People have this image of how wild and crazy I am, and I’m not everything they think,” she said.
