• Ted Cruz: ‘How About A Debate Moderated By Sean Hannity, Mark Levin And Rush Limbaugh?’

Ted Cruz launched a devastating attack on the mainstream media during Wednesday night’s GOP debate and mocked CNBC’s far-left moderators for their absurd line of questioning.

The Texas senator doubled down on his criticism of the media on Fox News after the debate with Sean Hannity.

The mainstream media are “the Democrats’ cheerleaders,” the Texas senator said. “Why is it that we keep having debates where the moderators, nobody in their right minds thinks would vote in a Republican presidential primary?”

Cruz pointed out that every question asked in the CNBC debate and other debates is an insult or an attack.

“In my view, Republican primary debates ought to be moderated by people who would vote in a Republican primary,” Cruz said. “How about a debate moderated by Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh? Now that would be a debate.”

Hannity said he would be “all in” and suggested Cruz ask Reince Priebus to make it happen.

Republican primary voters “would love to hear that debate,” Cruz said.

“It wouldn’t be a ‘gotcha’ debate,” Hannity said.
