• Trump Slaps Down Romney: Don’t Give Me Advice After Your ‘Choked Loss To Obama’

GOP failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s attacked Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Romney, the 2012 challenger to President Barack Obama, told host Jake Tapper that Trump’s campaign “has gone a lot further than expected.”

Tapper pressed Romney on whether he would vote for Trump should he end up winning the nomination.

Romney, who has been mounting a full court press against Trump since September, danced around the question.

“I would vote for the nominee of the Republican party and I don’t believe that’s going to be Donald Trump,” he said.

Trump, who donated to Mitt Romney in 2012, came out swinging later in the day with a series of tweets.

The tycoon criticized Romney’s loss to President Barack Obama and said he isn’t interested in criticism from the party’s 2012 nominee.
