• Trump Vows To Cut Disgraceful EPA

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is vowing to take a hatchet to the federal government if elected, putting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in his crosshairs. Trump told host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” he will start spending cuts by eliminating waste in government — and that means all options are on the table.

“I’m not cutting services, but I’m cutting spending,” Trump told Wallace. “I may cut the Department of Education. I believe Common Core is a very bad thing.” Trump followed this comment by ripping into the EPA, deriding its negative impact on business development and growth.

“Environmental Protection, what they do is a disgrace,” Trump said, according to Bloomberg. “Every week they come out with new regulations.”

Wallace pushed back, asking Trump who will protect the environment without the EPA. Trump responded, saying, “We’ll be fine with the environment. We can leave a little bit, but you can’t destroy businesses.”

Trump continued railing against environmentalists Monday morning, lambasting the climate change narrative on Twitter due to the cold weather on the East Coast, joking, “Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!”
