• 10 Year-Old To Navy: Thanks For Killing Those ISIS F***s

A 10 year-old just penned, rather, crayoned a letter to the Navy, thanking troops for their service and wishing them well in their efforts to kill “those isis f***s.”

“Thank you for your service,” the ten-year-old wrote. “Me and my family are so thankful for you troops protecting us. Thank you for trying your hardest to protect our country. Good luck on killing those isis f***s.”

Misty Allen-Brummett, reportedly received the letter which was sent to her husband, a navy sailor, as a part of a care package from school-aged children in the United States. As Brummett put it, “I think the teacher forgot to re-read what the children wrote before putting them in the box … I am sure this gave them a great laugh!”

Since the Paris attacks, Russia, France and the United States have stepped their airstrikes on the Islamic State. France struck ISIS’ de-facto capital in Raqqa, Syria, at least twice, relying on U.S. intelligence to seek out targets. The U.S. also started hitting one of ISIS’ main sources of revenue: oil. Aircraft destroyed roughly 115 oil truckers. ISIS brings in $50 million a month from oil. (RELATED: US Launches Mass Airstrikes Against Oil Trucks To Cut Off ISIS Revenue)

Additionally, the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group deployed Monday morning to combat ISIS and function as a replacement for Carrier Theodore Roosevelt. Since Roosevelt left in October, the region has had to make do without a carrier present. Though scheduled long in advance of the Paris attacks, the expected seven-month deployment gained a renewed purpose. The Truman is carrying 6,000 sailors.

Russia just hit ISIS on Tuesday with one of the most complicated airstrikes in recent memory.

The Kremlin launched 25 Backfire, Bear and Blackjack bombers, after which Gen. Valery Gerasimov stated that “14 important ISIL targets were destroyed by 34 air-launched cruise missiles.”
