• Feds Force High School To Allow Transgender Boys To Use Girls’ Shower, Locker Room

The federal government mandated on Monday that a Chicago taxpayer-funded high school allow a biological male who identifies as female to use the girls locker room and shower on school premises.

The Department of Education has given Township High School District 211 in Palatine, Ill one month to let the student use the girls’ locker room. The district risks losing federal funding if it does not acquiesce.

The DOE’s civil rights division made its Title IX ruling after a two-year investigation using a “preponderance of evidence” standard.

The school refused “unrestricted access” to the girls’ locker room in 2013 prompting the transgender “girl” filed a complaint with the feds.

The district eventually agreed in 2013 to allow him to use the girls’ room if he used a privacy curtain while disrobing, but the feds and Office for Civil Rights determined that forcing only the transgender student to use a curtain still constituted discrimination.
