Hacking Group ‘Crackas With Attitude’ Allegedly Exploits FBI Deputy Director’s Emails

Kids these days definitely have a set of brass balls.

The teenagers who hacked CIA director John Brennan’s email account continued their exploits and claimed they breached the email account of FBI deputy director Mark Giuliano, Vice’s Motherboard. The teen group, known as Crackas With Attitude, allegedly hacked into Giuliano’s Comcast account by using his wife’s name and posted photos to social media as evidence. Motherboard reported they could not independently confirm the breach.

When you’re Deputy Director of FBI but your wife still pays for the internet

During the alleged breach, CWA also found a phone number listed in the account.

“I called it and asked for Mark,” Cracka said to Motherboard, “and he’s like ‘I don’t know you but you better watch your back’ and then he hung up and I kept calling and he was getting mad then he didn’t pick up.”

In order to verify the claim, Motherboard called the number and while they received no answer, the voicemail seemed to indicate the phone belonged to Giuliano. (RELATED: U.S. Secrets At Risk After Ashley Madison Hack)

“We didn’t target him for anything interesting, we targeted him because FBI are [sic] investigating us,” Cracka said.

FBI representative Jillian Stickels declined to comment on the matter.

The attacks on high level government officials is nothing new for this group.

The New York Post reported on Oct. 18 that CWA hacked the private AOL email account of the CIA director, which included access to his 47-page application for top-secret security clearance. (RELATED: WikiLeaks Publishes Intimate Information On CIA Chief’s Wife And Daughters)

New York Magazine reported on Oct. 19, that the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson’s Comcast account was hacked by the group. (RELATED: Federal Red Tape Undermining U.S. Digital Security)
