• Yale Leftists INTERRUPT and SPIT ON Conservatives Attending Free Speech Conference

Yale students interrupted and spat on participants at a free speech forum last Friday.

The conservative William F. Buckley, Jr. Program held conference on free speech, days after a screaming protesters contested the university’s stance on offensive Halloween costumes.

Silliman College Associate Master Erika Christakis sent out an email defending the right to wear costumes that some might find offensive as an expression of free speech.

The panel featured the Freedom for Individual Rights in Education’s Greg Luikianoff and National Review‘s Kevin Williamson.

Lukianoff mocked those who were outraged by Christakis’ email about Halloween costumes.

“Looking at the reaction to Erika Christakis’s email, you would have thought someone wiped out an entire Indian village,” Lukianoff joked during the conference.

His remarks prompted a student to post signs around the room during the panel discussion which read, “Stand with your sisters of color. Now, here. Always, everywhere.”

Lukianoff’s remarks were posted to social media and when a crowd of protesters outside the event became aware of what he said were infuriated and started chanting, “Genocide is not a joke.”

One Buckley fellow said he was spat on and called a racist, the Yale Daily News reported. Another, who is a minority himself, said he has been labeled a ‘traitor’ by several fellow minority students.
