  • Sharpton Mad Trump ‘Hijacked’ Black Ministers from Dems, Announces ‘Racial Justice Forum’

The political left claims to love racial diversity, but it bitterly opposes such diversity on the political right.

Blacks have voted overwhelmingly Democratic Since 1964 and notorious race hustler Al Sharpton and the Democrat party use racism as a tool to keep it that way. If Republicans were able to attract black votes, the result would be catastrophic for the Democratic Party. It’s no surprise Sharpton finds GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s recent congregation with black pastors threatening.

    From TruthRevolt:

Al Sharpton isn’t happy that Donald Trump beat Democrats in reaching out to black ministers for support in the upcoming presidential election. And because of this, he has decided to do what he does best: call for a “racial justice forum.”

As a loyal subject of Barack Obama, Sharpton has asked all three Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Martin O’Malley, to participate in January with top black ministers from around the country. According to Politico, they’ve all agreed to attend.

Sponsoring the big moment for Sharpton is his own National Action Network. The reason for the event is so Sharpton can reach out to “the largest gathering of black voters in… churches” — a group, he believes, has been largely ignored by the Democratic candidates.

Sharpton didn’t like being in the shadows of Trump’s media blitz last month when the Republican front-runner announced he was meeting with a large group of black pastors:

Trump did what we have not seen them do on the Democratic side. A lot of them didn’t represent a large body, but he beat the Democrats to the perception in Black America that he respected the Black church. He’s hijacked the optics of respecting the Black church that the Democrats have not done.

Sharpton hasn’t yet offered his endorsement in the race, saying he is still undecided. But Clinton’s comments on the shooting of Laquan McDonald by Chicago Police may be swaying support in her direction:

I was impressed with Clinton’s statement on Chicago, calling for a special prosecutor. That meant something. She’s starting to say and do things that are warming me up but I’m not there yet.

Like Sharpton, Clinton will say anything to stay relevant and in the game.

recent poll shows Trump scooping up a staggering 25 percent of the black vote. Trump would more than double the best result for a Republican in modern American history, according to the survey.
