• Hillary: Trump’s Bigotry, Bluster, Bullying Have Become His Campaign

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton slammed Republican front runner Donald Trump on Tuesday for his “hateful incendiary rhetoric.”

“I really deplore the tone of his campaign and the inflammatory rhetoric he is using to divide people. And his going after groups of people with hateful incendiary rhetoric,” Clinton said, speaking with The Des Moines Register. “So nothing really surprises me anymore. I don’t know that he has any boundaries at all. His bigotry, his bluster, his bullying have become his campaign. And he has to keep, sort of upping the stakes and going even further.”

Clinton also doubled down on her claim that Trump is being used by terrorist like ISIS for recruitment.

“Specifically his very vehement reaction to my saying he is a very effective recruiter for ISIS is I think is an indication that he will deny and try to ignore the consequences of his comments,” she continued.  In fact if you look at the video coverage of his campaign on Arab language TV stations throughout the Middle East —if you look at social media how he is being quoted, and you look at the use that is being made of his comments by terrorists it’s pretty clear they are taking advantage of his political grandstanding to try to draw a bigger conclusion that somehow he represents America since he is running for president.

“That is why people have to stand up against it. Speak out against it. And Republicans have been very slow to do that. I think that he’s got to be held accountable for what he says and what the potential consequences of that kind of language are.”

Trump said Monday that Clinton “got schlonged” in the 2008 election by then-U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, stirring controversy. Trump also told a Michigan rally of his fans it was “too disgusting” to say what Hillary did when she left the stage for a portion of Saturday’s Democratic presidential debate.
