Lou Dobbs: Establishment GOP, Far Left and Liberal Media Joined In ‘Unholy Alliance’ To Destroy Trump

Lou Dobbs and Stewart Varney defended Donald Trump‘s plan to temporarily halt Muslim immigration to the US during their appearance on the O’Reilly Factor Wednesday night.

“[Trump] is right about pausing the immigration and refugee programs of this country until we know what the hell we’re doing,” Dobbs contended during a heated exchange with Bill O’Reilly.

O’Reilly argued that strong vetting of Muslim immigrants, is absolutely necessary but a “blanket statement” banning all Muslim immigrants hurts the country.

“[Trump’s] got the country with him on this one,” Varney said. “He is saying things that all the American people are saying all of the time. “

Dobbs claimed the the GOP elites, the far left and the liberal media are collaborating to destroy Trump.

“You are watching an unholy alliance between the establishment right, the left of this country and the national liberal media arrayed against Donald Trump, trying to bring him down, because they can’t do it at the polls and they know it and they are trying to destroy him,” he said.

“They pile on him, he gains ground,” Varney added. “The political class generally has lost control of the debate.”
