• FYI: ‘MAKE RAPE LEGAL’ Events Cancelled…For Now.

If you were planning to attend your local pro-rape meet-up, sorry it’s cancelled and you’re sick. I wish this was some kind of story from The Onion, but it’s not.

I discovered this story through a local news release that my nearby event advocating making rape legal had been cancelled. The organizer, Roosh Valizadeh, cancelled this event after police had sent out warnings to the public of the dangerous nature of attending the event.

From KCRG TV9 Cedar Rapids, IA:

A pro-rape blogger has canceled a planned worldwide private meetup for Saturday, February 6. Two locations were in Iowa, one in Cedar Rapids and the other in Des Moines.

Roosh Valizadeh is the creator of “men’s rights group” Return of Kings. He has said his solution to stop the rape culture is to “make rape legal if done on private property. I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds.”

Word of the “international meetup” had spread through social media and concerned citizens contacted police in both Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, as well as KCRG-TV9.

In a statement, Cedar Rapids Police said the department was aware of the situation. “It appears to be an attempt to get young girls or women to various meeting sites throughout the country, including a location in Cedar Rapids.

“It is our recommendation that no one actually goes to any of these sites. The Police Department certainly does not support individuals or groups who advocate violence or criminal acts.”

Sadly, with a little research, it was discovered that this “Roosh” inidividual who has created Return of Kings, a group that is as vile as they come, is the American son of immigrants. He was raised Shiite Muslim by his parents, an Armenian and an Iranian, and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Microbiology. I’m sure they are proud of their rapist son.

His teachings cover topics like, how to seduce and rape women, fat shaming, and basically all things violently misogynistic. He recently cancelled the Meet-up events like the one in Cedar Rapids that were scheduled all over the country, not because he suddenly felt that it was wrong to gather rapists together to discuss how to do it better, he worried for the rapists safety.

    Valizadeh said:

“I can no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend on February 6, especially since most of the meetups can not be made private in time. While I can’t stop men who want to continue meeting in private groups, there will be no official Return Of Kings meetups. The listing page has been scrubbed of all locations. I apologize to all the supporters who are let down by my decision.”

That’s right. The fact that the meetings cannot be made private in time is what stopped these events. That can lead one to believe that the events will be rescheduled and done in private. Therefore, the rapists in our communities will be meeting under the cover of darkness like the cockroaches they are.

Arm yourselves. This is the world we live in. If this can exist in the heartland of Iowa, it is everywhere. Teach your children, especially your girls, situational awareness, self defense, and the use of firearms.

If you go to the Return of Kings web site and read a little, you may come away disturbed. Knowledge of the existence of this kind of sick evil is a step in not being a victim.
