  • New STD! Zika Virus Goes Sexual.

The world can now enjoy another sexually transmitted disease. Oh goody! The Zika virus, formerly transmitted only by mosquitoes, has now been transmitted sexually.

As if we didn’t have enough reasons to be careful out there, here’s another one. You may ask what is Zika?

    According to the CDC:

Zika is a disease caused by Zika virus that is spread to people primarily through the bite of an infected Aedes species mosquito. The most common symptoms of Zika are fever, rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis (red eyes). The illness is usually mild with symptoms lasting for several days to a week. There is no vaccine or specific medicine to treat Zika virus infections.

It’s a dangerous world out there. Be careful what you do and who you do it with, or you could find out just how awful Zika is.
