• HELL YEAH: Iowa Students Will Now Recite Pledge Of Allegiance Before Class

Did you say the pledge at the beginning of school when you were a kid?

Many Americans did. In recent years, all we seem to hear about is how things like the pledge of allegiance and American flags are too offensive to be in the classroom.

Political Correctness took a hit this week. The Waukee, Iowa school board voted to require teachers to lead their students in the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag.

Could old-school patriotism be making a comeback? Or is this just some outlier to be crushed by the next round of PC BS?

At this point we don’t know, but it’s hard to argue with an American kid being asked to recite the pledge that allows them the opportunity to live freely any way they choose. The very pledge that so many have died for.

    From WHO TV:

WAUKEE, Iowa — Some Waukee students will soon start their day a little differently.

The Waukee School Board made a decision Monday night to direct high school staff to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at least once a week. Students will be asked to join in.

The decision comes after a parent questioned why the requirement only applied to students in kindergarten through 9th grade.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice, for all.
