• How Many Service People Will Die On OUR Bases Before We Arm Our Troops?

Another shooting on a base. Two more dead American Service People. This time the attacks took place at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

After the “Workplace Violence” that took place at Fort Hood, the Washington Navy Shipyard Shootings, and the Chatanooga recruiting station assault, you’d think that arming our highly trained military personnel would be a no-brainer, but you’d be wrong.

Watch the video to witness Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley absolutely wander around in his answer to a simple question.

When asked about allowing our troops to carry on base, he answers:

We have adequate law enforcement on those bases to respond. You take the Fort Hood incident, I was Commander of the Third Corps, those police responded within 8 minutes and that guy was dead. So, that’s pretty quick. A lot of people died in the process of that, but it was a very fast evolving event.

With all due respect to the General. That’s BS!

Eight minutes is an eternity to be taking fire and unarmed. Assuming the General has seen combat…how can he say that with a straight face. In that 8 minutes, 13 people died and 32 were injured. You can’t tell me that if some of those soldiers had been carrying that total would be more like 2 or 3 dead!

This General is a disgrace. He doesn’t trust our trained soldiers to protect themselves.

I’m not convinced that from what I know that carrying privately owned weapons would have stopped that individual. I’ve been around guns all my life, I know how to use them, and arming our people on our military bases and allowing them to carry concealed privately owned weapons, I do not recommend that as a course of action.

Well, that’s great General Milley, because nobody asked you that!

We don’t want them carrying privately or concealed. We want them carrying Government Issued weapons on their hips to kill the would-be psychos that are plaguing our bases.

This General should step down. He is an embarrassment to the uniform and has no problem with innocent deaths on our bases. Innocent deaths that could so easily be stopped.

These are our soldiers…disarming them is evidence of our systemic decline in America and our military.
