  • Donald Trump Jr. For New York Mayor Gets A Rise Out Of Weiner

Donald Trump Jr. gave a crowd pleasing speech at the Republican Convention last week.

It was so good in fact that it has many people wishing he was the Trump running for office.

Speculation has begun that Donald Trump Jr. would be a fantastic candidate for the Mayor of New York.

Well the idea of Trump Jr. for New York Mayor didn’t sit to well with former Rep. Anthony Weiner.

    From The Hill:

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) says he would end his retirement to keep Donald Trump Jr. from becoming New York City’s mayor.

“I’d come out of a retirement just to beat him like a rented mule,” he said Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, according to FOX5NY.

Donald Trump Jr., who is GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s son, said Weiner should stay out of politics.

Weiner resigned in 2011 after he was caught texting sexually explicit material to a woman who was not his wife. His wife is Huma Abedin, famous for her role as a trusted Hillary adviser. Weiner failed in his run for New York Mayor in 2013.

Trump Jr. said he’s not running for Mayor, but options remain open.

Donald Trump Jr. on Sunday said he would not rule out running for public office after the success of his father’s presidential campaign.

“As my father says, ‘We always like to keep our options open,’” he said on CNN’s “State of the Union. “So if I can do that as a service to our country, I’d love to do it.”

Trump Jr. showed that his father isn’t the only one who likes to use Twitter to hit back at antagonists, he tweeted this about Weiner’s claims to “Beat him like a rented mule”.
