The Milwaukee Chief has had a long day when this press conference begins…and it was only going to get longer.

He was on his way to process a child homicide.

Cleaning up after drive by shootings and doing your best to stop the violence gets a little old when the media and citizenry seem to be ready to blame the men in blue faster than the gang-bangers pulling the triggers.

Kudos to the Chief! This is righteous indignation at its best! Stay the course, good man. Everyone bleeds red when they are shot and everyone calls 911 no matter the color of their skin. Keep telling it like it is.

Solving the racial disparity problem won’t be from marching in the street and blaming our men in blue.

It will take a seismic shift in how our government works and how personal responsibility is accepted.
