According to Fox News the State Department previously had listed ten examples to identify “anti-Semitism”. Just recently? It added a clarifying eleventh: “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” will now be an indication of hostility toward Jews as a people.

Presumably, this is the Trump administration’s response to the Leftist habit of habitually comparing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to Hitlerian Germany’s treatment of Jews.

According to Fox News reports, this newest update of State’s definition of anti-Semitism is in direct answer to far-left Democrat endorsement of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement in Congress.

A bipartisan resolution in the House opposing BDS passed 398 to 17, easily overcoming the pro-BDS push by a handful of Democrats.

There is no just comparison, he says, between Israeli policy today and that of the Nazis.

“We know from history that silence is not an option,” he warns. “And history has clearly taught us that when we are silent in the face of blatant anti-Semitism, there are catastrophic casualties that take place and a lot of human suffering.”

    Fox News additionally relays,

The leader of a U.S.-based pro-Israel organization praised the move last week.
