• Hillary Comments on Sexual Stuff– and Manages to Offend an Unlikely Group

Surge Summary: Former First Lady/Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton avowed she is not a lesbian; and that some LGBTQ issues can be difficult for people in her generation – thus engendering the disapproval of homosexual/trans-gender activists.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton loudly declared to radio shock jock Howard Stern that — contrary to numerous, longstanding rumors — she’s “never even been tempted” to have a lesbian affair and that “I actually like men.”

During last week’s chat, Clinton also divulged to the controversial radio host that her pre-Bill Clinton boyfriend was “really handsome”, describing him as resembling a “Greek god,” NBC News reported.

Some opinion has it that the previously salacious Howard Stern has been changing his professional ways; but in the Clinton conversation he confirmed he can still go for the lecherous tid-bit. Upon Clinton’s admission that she likes men, Stern probed pointedly for more information.

“Raise your right hand,” he told the former U.S. Secretary of State and first lady. “You’ve never had a lesbian affair?”

Amid laughter, Clinton answered with a loud denial: “Never, never, never! Never even been tempted, thank you very much.”

Try to guess what comes next in this story …

NBC News says a self-described “proud lesbian” writer has remarked she was “disappointed” with Clinton’s words and tone.

“It’s so frustrating when public figures like Hillary feel the need to dispel lesbian rumors in a way that equates lesbianism or queerness with salaciousness, and that’s ultimately what I dislike about the way she phrased it. Specifically the word ‘tempted,'” Trish Bendix — a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association — told the network. “I think there’s a way to refute untrue ideas about one’s own identity without saying something damaging to others.”

For her part, Hillary refreshingly indicated in the Stern tête-à-tête that she maintains, at least on an unconscious or instinctual level, a sense of what is normal and healthy … and what is not. Same-sex activity is against the created order – in conflict with God’s design for how the things should be. It sounds like Hillary sort of “gets” that, or perhaps feels it, even if she’d never specifically spell out those sentiments but only hint at it with a nervous guffaw.

Mind you, this is not the first time the erstwhile first lady has crossed the LGTQ lobby: While being interviewed in October, Clinton reportedly struck an “uneasy” demeanor concerning the pro-transgender crowd’s notion that biological males — including those with beards and penises still intact — can become women. Her reaction preceded daughter Chelsea’s affirmative reply regarding the same issue.

“Errr. I’m just learning about this,” Hillary Clinton answered, the Daily Mail said. “It’s a very big generational discussion, because this is not something I grew up with or ever saw. It’s going to take a lot more time and effort to understand what it means to be defining yourself differently.”

    The 72-year-old, veteran pol continued:

“I think you’ve got to be sensitive to how difficult this is. There are women who’d say [to a trans woman], ‘You know what, you’ve never had the kind of life experiences that I’ve had. So I respect who you are, but don’t tell me you’re the same as me.’ I hear that conversation all the time.”

The erstwhile New York Senator clearly hasn’t gotten the memo: “sensitivity” is reserved only for the unabashedly pro-LGBTQ ranks. Yet, even in these relatively controversial admissions, Clinton assumes an unnecessarily apologetic tone.

That said, she does once again touch on a semblance of sensibleness. Genetic, biological men who get shot up with female hormones, undergo body-maiming surgery and dab on some make-up and a changed hair-do can suddenly be denominated “women”? Seriously? Yes, as she put it, that’s a “difficult” conclusion to swallow, indeed.

Hillary should have forthrightly snapped “Hogwash!” at the proposition.  Instead, she merely pleaded for some more time and understanding while she and those like her adjust to the new normal. It’s hardly a sufficient response, but it is something kind of noteworthy – particularly in the overwhelmingly Leftist company she keeps.

We’re reminded it’s a challenge for human beings – even loud-and-proud liberals – to escape completely from the moral sense that has been dialed into us as beings made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26).

There decidedly are, nonetheless, those who manage to quash it and proceed in a self-deluded, self-destructive direction.

    For instance:

Her position was “disappointing” to Alliance for Justice Press Secretary Zach Ford — a self-described “queer, atheist, proud SJW” — who tweeted that people need to “call it out for the transphobia it is.”
