• Dems’ Passions: Destroy Trump, Cover Up for Communist China

Surge Summary: Confronting China over its recent and longstanding misdeeds shouldn’t be a Republican vs. Democratic issue – but the party of Nancy Pelosi seems more interested in pursuing its partisan interests than dealing with a dangerous Red Dragon.

Communist China is ratcheting up its rhetoric against the United States, warning of a new cold war.  And Beijing is being especially aggressive, attacking several members of Congress by name, insisting that they will pay a price for attempting to hold the communist regime accountable for the coronavirus.

Among the lawmakers identified are:  Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Martha McSally (R-AZ), Rick Scott (R-FL), and Representatives Jim Banks (R-IN), Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), Lance Gooden (R-TX) and Chris Smith (R-NJ).

Meanwhile, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has established a special committee to investigate the coronavirus.  But the purpose of this committee is not to find out the truth about the coronavirus.

We can say this because committee Republicans have asked several times to investigate China’s actions and responsibility for the virus, but the Democrat majority has refused every time.

By the way, did you notice something about all the names I listed above?  They’re all conservative Republicans.

Why aren’t there any Democrats on Beijing’s “hit list”?  Would the Chinese Communist Party denounce liberal Democrats?  Of course it would, if any Democrats were just as vehement in denouncing the CCP as they are in denouncing Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

Confronting communist China for its responsibility for the coronavirus – or its rampant espionage, predatory trade practices, aggressive military buildup and gross human rights abuses – shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

But when it comes to taking down Donald Trump, it seems that Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are on the same page as communist China!
