Rioting continued for a second night in Philadelphia. More than 90 people have been arrested and 30 police officers have been injured. Violence also broke out in Washington, D.C., [Tuesday] night.
What sparked this latest round of riots?
There is looting in Philadelphia because a man who approached police officers while erratically waving a knife at them was shot. So naturally you run to the nearest Walmart, steal a big screen TV and grab whatever you can out of the cash registers.
The Pennsylvania National Guard was reportedly mobilized but had
no visible presence on the streets.
Protests erupted in Washington, D.C., after officers attempted to stop a man who was riding on a moped without a helmet. He was struck by a car and killed – exactly what the police were trying to prevent, yet somehow it’s their fault the man is dead.
Meanwhile, white Antifa demonstrators, socialists and BLM activists got into a fight over who was going to lead the sacking of Philadelphia, so they decided to go their separate ways and divide the plunder.
There’s the left bringing us together again. Even their protests are segregated!
