Surge Summary: A push for universal, mail-in paper balloting and the elimination of the electoral college is part of a Progressive scheme to move the United States toward socialism. Why would America want to adopt these policies which lead to an economic system which fails wherever it is tried?

    by William Pauwels

For over a century, Leftist/Socialist/Communist forces in our country have been lobbying for across-the-board mandatory-voter elections, i.e., everyone must vote. They were never able to achieve this objective before the Chinese pandemic and its related forced introduction of paper balloting.

Paper balloting enables every person in our country to vote, regardless of their knowledge of government, our economy, and our political system. By simply sending out forms every John and Jane, alive or deceased, can vote.

Unfortunately, too many underqualified voters are driven by family voting tradition and/or by habit or by promised socialistic benefits promised by Leftist promoters.  Even individuals incapable of voting on their own can be induced to vote by others and/or party harvesters.

The substantial increase in voter participation this year is a powerful force leading to Socialism and/or quasi-Communism.  How do you think most Western European countries were forced into Socialistic, high tax, low productivity economic systems?  Voters on the lower rungs of the economic ladder are enticed by the welfare promises of big government promoters.

History, has proven that Socialism doesn’t work. That’s why so many Western countries have rejected Socialism in favor of a hybrid form of Capitalism and Socialism.

Communist China has reverted to this hybrid system as have other nations such as Sweden (often falsely presented as a successful, pro-Socialistic model). Unfortunately, these hybrid systems can only work with the imposition of a strong, centralized, quasi-dictatorial government.

This of course is what the Democrat party is attempting to achieve here in the USA. One might ask why would the most successful nation in the world emulates these hybrid Socialistic systems struggling to achieve standards of living comparable to the USA? It makes no sense!

Abolishing the Electoral College as the Democrats now desire would be another move toward a socialistic system in this country. It would put all of the voting power in the hands of Leftist big cities.  Most of the country could be ignored. . . . The American Constitution and Bill of Rights and related Liberty has given America the highest standard of living in the history of the world.  So why change?  Why copy loser systems?  Because Leftist Democrat leaders are power hungry de facto Socialists under which the top guys prosper.

America has achieved economic prosperity and a standard of living unprecedented in the history of mankind. America’s success is based on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights and Free Enterprise System.  They were formulated by our Founders using enlightened Judeo-Christian principles. Unfortunately, many of these principles are being driven out of the USA system as we gradually swirl downward toward hybrid Socialism.
