Surge Summary: Sex and gender radicals are pushing their aberrant behavior down the throats of normal people – and the normal people are growingly becoming fed up; and pushing back. A recent poll backs up this conclusion. Countervailing efforts of traditional men and women are producing encouraging results. They need to continue.

Gallup’s annual Values and Beliefs poll shows 63% of Americans find homosexual relationships morally acceptable, down seven points from 2022.
“This is encouraging,” said Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse. “Republican support for same-sex relationships fell from 56% to 41%. Among Democrats, it dropped from 85% to 79%.”
“Other findings show two-thirds of those polled oppose letting men compete in women’s sports, and 55% believe transgenderism is immoral,” Morse said.
“This year’s ‘Pride Month’ was over the top. The LA Dodgers had no business honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence on ‘Pride Night.’ When the public objected, the Dodgers retreated. Then the California political class got involved and obviously pressured the Dodgers, who retreated again. Ordinary people are concluding that their sensibilities don’t matter.”
“Besides, no one seriously believes the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were ‘born that way’ and have no moral responsibility for their deliberately offensive behavior,” Morse said.
“The more homosexuality is shoved in their faces, the more people rebel. Parents are angry about efforts to indoctrinate their children, with everything from comprehensive sexuality education and sex-neutral restrooms to encouraging students to choose their pronouns.”
“But organizations such as the Ruth Institute have also had a major impact. We’re pleased with the results of our Resist Pride project, our e-book “Protecting your Family from the Top 5 Gay Myths,” and our Transgender Resource Center.”
“We want our followers to know that their support for our programs is helping us reach more people,” Morse said. “By disseminating scientific information and carefully reasoned analysis on the nature of sex and dangers of the sexual ideology, we are winning the argument, despite media censorship and an administration that is an adjunct of the LGBTQ.”
“People are finally saying, ‘Enough is enough.’ Now is the time to push back against homosexual and trans ideology and protect our children. This is a fight we can and must win.”
